My grades slip my first year in college and i was put on block from signing up for other classes, and just this year my grades slip again, i wasn't warn that the next time it happens i will be kicked out, but thats what people are telling me, is there any way i can avoid from being kick out of school for a semester? i have very strict parents who wont take this,plus this year has been very hard for me with 3 deaths in the family and if i get kick out it will just turn more ugly for me! Although with the right amount of motivation your worker may do her work correctly, you do not need a lazy and tardy worker. This is your business, and you don't have time to constantly push your workers to do their work. I think that you should have a private meeting with your employee and tell her that she needs to work harder. If she doesn't want to put forth the effort, my suggestion would be to let her go. Peer pressure is a common conflict amongst people, mainly teenagers, these days. I understand that you still want to be friends with these people.
