1. THE PURPOSE OF DURING HOMEWORK IS TO KNOW HOW WELL THE STUDENT IS LEARNING IN THE CLASS AND IF HE OR SHE IS PRACTICING ON THE LESSON THAT THEY LEARNED WHICH WILL HELP THEM IMPROVE.AND ALSO TO REVIEW WHAT WAS LEARNED THAT DAY IN CLASS SO YOU CAN GET A BETTER KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT YOU WERE LEARNING.

2.YES I DO BELIVE HOMEWORK MEETS THE STANDARDS BECAUSE IF DONT UNDERSTAND SOMETHING IN SCHOOL THAT DAY AFTER SCHOOL WHEN IT’S TIME FOR ME TO DO MY HOMEWORK IT GIVES ME A BETTER UNDERSATNDING OF THE LESSON AND HELPS ME.

3.THE REASON WHY I DO MY HOMEWORK WHEN I DO IT IS BECAUSE I WANT A GOOD GRADE IN THAT CLASS AND HOMEWORK HELPS MY GRADE OUT A WHOLE LOT.AND ALSO I DONT WANT TO HEAR MY MOTHER ABOUT WHY I DIDNT DO MY HOMEWORK WHEN I MY FINAL GRADE COMES OUT.

4.THE THINGS THAT KEEP ME FROM MY DOING MY HOMEWORK MOST OF THE TIME IS MY CELLPHONE,TV,COMPUTER,PEOPLE COMING TO MY HOUSE, ND MY FRIENDS ALL THESE THINGS DISTRACT ME WHEN IT’S TIME FOR ME TO DO MY HOMEWORK.

5.IF I COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT HOMEWORK IT WOULD BE TO MAKE IT MORE INTERESTING THAT WOULD MAKE IT FUN WHILE YOUR DOING IT. AND I WOULD ALWAYS CHANGE THAT THERES LESS HOMEWORK.

1.) the purpose of homework is to give us practice on what we learned.
2.)yes and no. Sometimes homework has no point to it but, sometimes it has a point.
3.)I do homework because I want to get good grades and homework contributes to that.
4.)I have practice four days a week and i have some thing for chruch or something then I have Middletown football games I go to.
5.)I would only give it out before a test or quiz this way it’s like a study sheet or practice.

1. I think that the purpose of homework is a review of what you did in class that day.
2. Yes, I do think that this purpose meets the standard of what homework is.
3. The reason that I do my homework is because I want to get a good grade, I know that the teacher will check it the next day, and because sometimes it kind of helps me to understand what we did in class better. This is because since I have extra time at home, I can take my time and reread and get a better understanding of some things.
4. Some things that prevent me from doing my homework are:talking on the phone, playing on the computer, watching T.V., the homework is too hard/complicated, or I just don’t feel like doing it.
5. If I could change homework, I would make it shorter, make it easier, or make it more interesting maybe by relating it to a television show.

1) I think that the purpose of homework is for the students to be able to retain the knowledge that they learned in that class for that day, or just to review.
2) I do not think that homework helps you reatain that knowledge. I don’t. Some people still don’t even understand the homework they were assigned.
3) I do homework when I do it, because a) I either have to do it right when I get home before I do anything fun. Or b)I can wait until later that night when I only have homework that will take me 5 minutes or less to do.
4) I think that something that keeps me from Homework is my family and friends. And the internet does to. What used to keep me from homework was my “volunteer work” every wednesday which was at my church and was called AWANA. And I hope that I can continue.
5) If I could change homework without taking it completely away, I would make it a lot less harder and I would make a LOT less of it!

1. I think the purpose of homework is to get more practice of whatever you are learning in class so you can understand it more.

2. Yes. I think homework does give you practice. It will always prepare you for any upcoming tests on it.

3. I do homework when i do it because i dont want to be the one to fail my classes because other things are holding me up instead of doing to right thing.

4. Things that keep me from doing my homework are are hanging out with friends, going places, staying out late for whatever reason, and just not feel like doing it.

5. If i could change homework i would give less of it so people could actually have time to spend with friends. I would also have teachers make it easier for us to comprehend.

I find that most of the comments deal with time issues. Students have busy lives. Time management is important becuase it allows students to prioritize for the important happenings in their lives.

1. The Purpose of homework is to help you learn more on the things we did in class.

2. Yes I think homework does this.

3. I do homework because it counts towards my grade. Also, you won’t have to worry about getting in trouble or doing it during homeroom or class.

4. Sports practices that last too long, television, video games, and hanging out with my friends keeps me from doing my homework.

5. Homework should only be given out when more than half of of the class is failing or their grades are declining.

i think the purpose of homework is to learn not just at school but also at home. So parents know what you are upto in school. Yes homewok meets this purpose because my parents are always asking what do i have for homework that night also if you are lying parents always have ways of finding out if you were lieing or not. I do homework because i have nothing better to do and also i am not involved in any sports at this time but a aslo Would do it even if i was involved in any sports. Not writing the homework down or even saying i didn’t know i had homework in that class. What i would do to get rid of homework is that i would either do it in school or even just going to the principle about that subject.

1-The purpose of homework is to see where a student really is as far as knowing what is goin on beacuse in class you can ask for the teachers help or see what a classmate has on thier work.

2-Yes i believe homework meets this purpose because if I don’t understand what is going on when I am doing my homework I will tell the teacher that i need help the next day but if we didn’t have homework I would have never said something like that.

3-I do my homework because it is a part of your final grade and if you do not do it your percentage could get dropped a whole letter grade.

4-Things that keep me from doing my homework is not knowing what is going on, the computer, the phone, my friends, and fun in general.

5-If I could change homework I would make it more fun by using games and puzzles. I would make the homework shorter, too because i have no free time once I am finished.

2. Yes, I do think that homework meets this purpose because it is a review of what you have learned in the class during the day.

3. I do my homework when I do it because it is apart of your grade and I dont think i want to fail.

4. Things that keep me from doing my homework is my girlfriend, online, t.v., and football.

5. If I could chang homework i would give homework but only if it has to do something that the student is interested in. I would also not give homework everyday. I would only give students homework if we had a lesson and we did no work on it what so ever.
